Summary: Pregnancy induces expansion of NKT-like immune cells and upregulation of immune signaling molecules in mammary epithelial cells. Lack of CD1d expression or activated NKT cells may lead to mammary oncogenesis.

Summary: Post-lactational mammary gland regression involves programmed cell death, ECM breakdown, and adipocyte redifferentiation. Tumor growth is impacted by the stage of involution at which cells are implanted in a syngeneic model. Older first-time mothers have increased breast cancer risk, with initial tumor growth faster in aged mice compared to young mice.

Summary: The study reveals that SEMA7A promotes anoikis resistance in mammary epithelial cells and plays a role during mammary gland involution. SEMA7A is primarily expressed in cells expressing alpha 6-integrin, and a decrease in luminal progenitor cells is observed in SEMA7A-/- mice during involution.

Summary: Th17 cells play a significant role in the pathogenesis of myocarditis, and Bazedoxifene can affect STAT3 signaling to effectively inhibit the progression of cardiac inflammation. Therefore, Bazedoxifene may be a promising therapeutic strategy for the treatment of experimental autoimmune myocarditis.

Summary: Cardiac hypertrophy is a compensatory response to chronic pressure overload, and excessive angiotensin II plays a significant role in inducing cardiac hypertrophy. Previous studies have shown that STAT5, a member of the STATs family, is closely linked to non-tumor diseases, but its specific role in hypertrophy progression remains unclear. In this study, STAT5-IN-1, a STAT5 inhibitor, was administered to mice and H9c2s cells were used as cell models to investigate the effects of STAT5-IN-1 on cardiac hypertrophy induced by angiotensin II. The findings demonstrated that STAT5 inhibitor substantially decreased cardiac hypertrophy by reducing inflammation.

Summary: This study investigated the effect of IFN-alpha-2b on preventing postoperative arthrofibrosis in rats and its antiproliferation effect on fibroblasts in vitro, as well as its molecular mechanism. The results showed that IFN-alpha-2b significantly reduced arthrofibrosis by inhibiting fibroblast proliferation and migration, possibly through the regulation of STAT1/p21 signaling pathway.

Summary: The study showed that Diosmetin has significant inhibitory effects on cell proliferation and can induce cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in osteosarcoma cells. It achieves anti-osteosarcoma effects by regulating the expression of apoptotic proteins and inhibiting the activation of the STAT3/c-Myc signaling pathway.

Summary: This study conducted transcriptome sequencing of goat-mammary-gland tissue at different developmental stages to reveal the expression characteristics and molecular functions of circRNAs during mammary involution. A total of 11,756 circRNAs were identified, with 2528 circRNAs expressed in all three stages. Gene ontology analysis showed functional diversity of circRNAs' source genes. Furthermore, differentially expressed circRNAs and circRNA-miRNA-mRNA ceRNA regulatory networks were identified, providing insights into the regulatory role of circRNAs in mammary cell involution and remodeling.

Summary: In this study, two distinct miRNA expression patterns were found to be associated with mammary regenerative involution. Differentially expressed miRNAs were primarily involved in tissue self-renewal and enriched in pathways related to vesicle-mediated transport, tissue development, tube development, vasculature development, and epithelial development.
