Summary: Validity is not an inherent property of a measurement scale, requiring evidence for validity relating to its use for specific purposes, populations, and contexts. This study aimed to demonstrate the construct validity of a generic health-related quality of life instrument in cats with osteoarthritis and to investigate the responsiveness of the instrument to detect clinically relevant changes over time.

Summary: Chemotherapy-induced diarrhea (CID) is a common symptom that occurs in 50 to 80% of patients. This study identified four distinct diarrhea profiles among 1133 patients: none (58.3%), decreasing (22.0%), increasing (5.2%), and high (14.5%). Patients in the high class had lower functional status, worse comorbidity profile, were more likely to have gastrointestinal cancer, and receive chemotherapy on a 14-day cycle compared to the none class.

Summary: This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of strength exercise or aerobic exercise compared to usual care on knee-related quality of life and knee function in individuals with knee osteoarthritis. A three-arm randomized controlled trial was conducted with 168 participants. The results showed no significant effects on KOOS quality of life at 1 year, but both exercise groups showed better quadriceps muscle strength and maximal oxygen uptake at 4 months compared to usual care.
