Summary: This study utilizes wireless power transfer technology to extend the lifetime of wireless multihop networks and allows nodes with substantial energy to conduct cooperative WPT with energy-deprived nodes. By establishing a system model and optimization problem, it is confirmed that the solidarity of multihop nodes' lifetimes maximizes the network longevity, and a tractable solution is derived using linear programming. Simulation results demonstrate that the optimal CoWPT solution significantly enhances network lifetime, particularly in MANET environments where more ambient RF signals can be utilized for energy harvesting.

Summary: This paper introduces a Geographic Position based Hopless Opportunistic Routing (GPHLOR) Protocol for UAV networks to address the issues of dynamic topology changes and link quality variations. GPHLOR combines the advantages of hopless and position-based protocols, allowing for better transmission opportunities and adaptation to frequent topology changes in UAV networks. Simulation results demonstrate that GPHLOR outperforms existing routing protocols in terms of packet delivery rate, end-to-end delay, throughput, and overhead in UAV networks.

Summary: This paper studies the secrecy performance of multihop transmission in wireless sensor networks, and proposes two node selection schemes, namely minimum node selection (MNS) and optimal node selection (ONS) schemes. The secrecy outage probability (SOP) under different eavesdropping attacks is derived to evaluate the security performance. The results show that the ONS scheme has the strongest secrecy performance, but requires a lot of channel information. On the other hand, the MNS scheme reduces the amount of channel information while still providing secure transmission. The impact of network parameters on secrecy performance is also discussed in this paper, and the trade-off between secrecy performance and computational complexity is evaluated.

Summary: The proposed Raptor coded random access (RCRA) scheme aims to enhance reliable transmission in decentralized UAV networks. By optimizing slot numbers, incorporating error-correcting codes, and designing idle-slot-filling approach, the RCRA scheme significantly reduces bit-error ratio (BER) of random access systems. Numerical results demonstrate its effectiveness in moderate- and high-signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) scenarios.

Summary: This paper proposes secure relaying transmission protocols using rateless codes, where a source sends encoded packets to two intended destinations and employs non-orthogonal multiple access technology. It also studies two partial relay selection methods to enhance data transmission reliability while protecting against eavesdroppers with cooperative jamming technique. The results show a trade-off between security and reliability, which can be optimized by designing system parameters.

Summary: This paper studies low-latency streaming codes for multi-hop networks. It proposes a state-dependent coding scheme that achieves the same rate as the existing scheme for single relay networks and can be generalized to multiple-relay nodes. The proposed scheme adapts transmission based on the erasures on the previous link and appends a header to the transmitted packets. The paper also provides an upper bound on the achievable streaming rate for networks with any number of relays.
