Summary: A novel analytical equation is proposed in the article to determine the equivalent time of arrival (E-TOA) for achieving sub-ns resolution with reduced analog-to-digital converter sampling frequency. The equation, different from conventional ones, is sensitive to transmitter and receiver clock drift variations. Experimental validation shows high ranging accuracy can be achieved using the proposed E-TOA technique even with a low sampling rate.

Summary: This letter proposes an anti-jamming model based on equivalent sampling and coupled chaotic oscillator to tackle the electromagnetic threats faced by carrier-free ultrawideband (UWB) sensors. The echo data is collected by equivalent sampling to destroy the jamming features in the time domain, eliminating the need for extra attention to the initial jamming form. An improved coupled chaotic model is then used to detect the weak impulses after sampling, reducing the sample rate and destroying the original features of the jamming.

Summary: This study proposes a noncontact measurement method for vital signs using SFCW-UWB and IR-UWB radars. The suggested approach utilizes the SUSVMD algorithm to extract frequency-mixed respiratory and heartbeat signals and employs back projection and spectral unmixing optimization for band-limited mode extraction. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the suggested method.
