Summary: A wideband differentially-fed slot antenna with circularly polarized radiation is proposed for mmWave applications. A novel method of using stepped corner-shaped slot is utilized to establish wideband CP radiation. The antenna design includes orthogonal radiation and phase delay, as well as modifications to enhance the axial ratio and impedance bandwidth. The antenna element, linear array, and planar array were designed and fabricated to verify performance. Simulated and measured results demonstrate wide overlapped impedance and AR bandwidths for both the linear and planar arrays. Compact size and wide bandwidth make this antenna a promising candidate for mmWave applications.

Summary: This article proposes a series-fed, single-layer dual-circularly polarized slot array antenna that is fed by a stepped ridge gap waveguide (RGW) at the 77-GHz band. The antenna is capable of generating dual-circularly polarized waves, making it suitable for next-generation polarimetric radar in automotive applications. The antenna consists of eight columns of linear arrays and two feeding ports for exciting the slots. The design process and measured results are presented in this article. The measured results demonstrate that the achieved gain of the proposed antenna is above 27.3 dBi, with an axial ratio of about 2 dB over the frequency range of 76-79 GHz, exhibiting dual-CP patterns. The S-11 and S-22 values for the proposed antenna are below -10 dB, and the measured port isolation is above 17.5 dB.

Summary: This article presents the design of a compact circularly polarized wideband antenna array based on substrate integrated waveguide technology. The antenna covers a frequency range of 2.15 GHz to 3.63 GHz, with a working band at 2.45 GHz and a 3 dB bandwidth from 2.19 GHz to 2.51 GHz. The simulation and experimental results confirm the suitability of the antenna for ISM band applications.

Summary: A W-band slot array antenna based on a substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) for microwave power transmission (MPT) is proposed in this paper. The compact arrangement of the antenna elements improves the aperture efficiency and enables easy integration into large-scale arrays.
