海报摘要
- The association between cross-metal exposures of pregnant mothers and postdelivery neuroendocrine functions have remained largely unexplored. This study was carried out to investigate the effect of aluminium chloride (AlCl3) and cadmium chloride (CdCl2) co-exposure on postpartum maternal neuroendocrine and neurometabolic adjustments. Our result is suggestive that maternal exposure to AlCl3 and CdCl2 during pregnancy influenced brain to body weight ratio and increased oxidative stress which may contribute to negative maternal postpartum-behaviours reported.
