It was indeed too difficult. I submitted an article, but it was rejected after internal review. However, when I submitted to AM, it was accepted.

Only the team of outstanding youth and academicians may have a chance. The difficulty is too great. It is advisable to be cautious unless it is a research institute affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences or a top-notch 985 university.

The text is already in English. It says, "The manuscript went through three rounds of review in Chinese and English, with a total duration of 7 months."

Published, because the research results have been verified by the occurrence of an earthquake, it was printed one month in advance and, upon receiving the Chinese version, translated into English.

What is the speed of the manuscript review?

猫小麦 2022-08-22

Did you accept it one month after submission? How long is the average review process? Thank you.

Is the Chinese and English version of the manuscript submitted simultaneously?

First time submitting to GEOLOGY, got rejected. The editor invited me to submit again, but I was too impatient, so I submitted to the Chinese version of Science in China Earth Sciences. Encountered the same issue as GEOLOGY, made revisions and resubmitted, received revision suggestions after one month, received comments for reevaluation after over a month, and received acceptance notification after half a month. I also considered submitting to Scientific Bulletin, but due to the urgency of graduating, I gave up. I feel satisfied with my first SCI publication.
