Received the review results four months after submission. The first time it was sent back for revisions, it took a month for the editor to put it "under review." It took them three weeks to notify me of the completed required review. Now, it has been a month since the second revision was submitted, and it is still "with editor." I sent an email to urge them, and received a sincere reply from someone. However, a week has passed and it is still "with editor." The entire process has already been eight months, and I still can't see any hope of acceptance.

Submitted at the end of September, it took a month and a half to wait for two reviewers willing to review. The received feedback seemed like an automated email, with mainly official statements at the beginning, stating that they couldn't accept the current version. However, if the revised version based on the reviewers' comments is submitted again, they would reconsider acceptance. The email also included minor suggestions from the two reviewers. No additional experiments were requested. After two weeks of revision, it was resubmitted and accepted the next morning.

How long after you submit your manuscript will you receive the number, and how long will it take to be reviewed?

Seeing that everyone says it's right to be slow, after submission, the manuscript is not assigned to the editor for numbering, and the impact factor is declining. The handling of manuscripts is not proactive, so it can only be relegated to the third tier. I suggest that everyone should not submit anymore.

Does this magazine require a layout fee?

Excuse me, downstairs, does "Under Review" mean that it has already been submitted for review?
