The first review has been in the "With editor" status for four months. Time seems to have stood still within these four months - until today, it remains unchanged. I have forgotten how many times I have sent reminders during this period (because there were too many). The motionlessness of the "With editor" status made me think I was dreaming... From now on, I am certain that the submission stage is the most mentally challenging step. I hope that in the fifth month of waiting for my submission to be reviewed, there will be some progress. This pace is driving me crazy.
