There are a total of 3 reviewers, with three rounds of revisions. In the first round, there were major revisions (two major and one minor). In the second round, there were minor revisions (one major, one minor, and one acceptance). In the third round, there were minor revisions (one minor and two acceptances). The paper was accepted and published after a total of 10 months. The review process for JGR-A is quite rigorous, with in-depth and meticulous questions raised, which indeed improved the quality of the paper. By responding well to the reviewers' comments, the paper will eventually be successfully published. Previously, I mainly published papers in JGR-B. This is the first time I have published a paper in JGR-A, and I feel very good about it. I will continue to publish papers in it in the future.

Brother, you said "shedding skin" so vividly. I totally agree. Has this journal been published in Zone 1? I really can't believe the antics of the Document Information Center. How did they manage to turn some "low-quality journals" into top-tier and Zone 1? I'm speechless.

There are three reviewers, one of whom is very strict. After three rounds of review, they still rejected it.

Each time I receive a new JGRA evaluation, I have a different feeling.

Agreed, there were four rounds of review, and the replies were longer than the article in the first two rounds. In the end, the article increased from 6000 to 8000 characters. The reviewers were all highly skilled and their opinions were very objective. Although the criticism was sharp and almost made me give up, I honestly replied to all the questions and the quality of the article improved significantly.

Highly acclaimed journals within the field are more recognized than ordinary Tier 1 journals (please take a seat). My personal representative works have been published in JGR-A, and it always feels like a struggle to submit each time. Unfortunately, the impact factor is too low, which has diminished my desire to submit any papers for the past two years.

The level of the nc articles is not necessarily higher than that of jgr. Most of the articles in the subsidiary journal focus on social impact, as for specific theories and fundamental knowledge, they are just average.

October 2020 submission
December 2020 major revisions after the first review (encountered an expert who delayed giving feedback until the end, unrelated to the journal's speed)
Returned after revisions in February 2020
Minor revisions based on the second review in April 2020
Returned after revisions in April 2020
Accepted directly after the third review in April 2020
The journal is excellent, a top-tier publication. The feedback from the reviewers was very professional and indeed improved the quality of the article. It took two months for all the revisions. It was my first submission to JGRA, and the experience was great. I will continue to submit in the future, hoping for continued good luck.

Submitted in March 2019, the first review took three months with two reviewers providing major revisions. After resubmission, it was accepted directly three months later.
