目标和范围
Crystals (ISSN 2073-4352) is an open access journal that covers all aspects of crystalline material research. Crystals can act as a reference, and as a publication resource, to the community. It publishes reviews, regular research articles, and short communications. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. Therefore, there is no restriction on article length. Full experimental details must be provided to enable the results to be reproduced. Crystals provides a  forum for the advancement of our understanding of the nucleation, growth, processing, and characterization of crystalline materials. Their mechanical, chemical, electronic, magnetic, and optical properties, and their diverse applications, are all considered to be of importance.

The reviewers' comments can be found on the official website approximately two weeks later. The opinions of the two reviewers are particularly prominent, emphasizing the lack of innovation. One of the reviewers has two disagreements: (1) they believe that the characterization is below average and that TEM cannot accurately explain the problem. (2) They believe that the discussion is qualitative and does not explain the strengthening mechanism. The other reviewer mainly points out: (1) the innovation of this work cannot be reflected in the introduction and needs modification. (2) The discussion section is too thin and needs to compare more works to highlight its own work.

My own opinion is: I just want to spend money to get a graduate degree. These review comments seem to strictly adhere to Q2 requirements, which are completely different from what I have seen online.

Currently, it is still pending decision, which means there is a high possibility of rejection. In the previous comments, there were senior reviewers who said, "Only correctness matters, not innovation. Even screenshots of software can be published." I believe in that. However, I took my figures seriously and calibrated the TEM diffraction spots. I can only say that people are now very anxious. Has Crystals changed? It doesn't seem like the so-called "low-tier journal" is low at all.
