This journal belongs to the American Society of Civil Engineers. It has a very high quality and is not inferior to the top-tier agricultural water management journals. However, due to its low annual article acceptance rate, its impact factor is not high. Nevertheless, it is highly recognized in the industry, especially in the United States. It is classified as a Q4 journal by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, which is a serious underestimation. The average publication time is usually not less than one year. Chinese researchers submit articles to this journal less frequently, so those who are eager to graduate should be cautious when considering submitting their work.
