目标和范围

The purpose of Polycyclic Aromatic Compounds is to provide an international and interdisciplinary forum for all aspects of research related to polycyclic aromatic compounds (PAC). Topics range from fundamental research in chemistry (including synthetic and theoretical chemistry) and physics (including astrophysics), as well as thermodynamics, spectroscopy, analytical methods, and biology to applied studies in environmental science, biochemistry, toxicology, and industry. Polycyclic Aromatic Compounds has an outstanding Editorial Board and offers a rapid and efficient peer review process, as well as a flexible open access policy.

This journal has been submitted twice. The first submission took three months for peer review, and it was finally accepted after revisions. However, it took over a year for the article to be formally published, but it was already searchable in the Web of Science during the online phase. For the second submission, it has been five months without finding any reviewers. When inquiring about the status of the review via email, the response received was a copied and pasted template, leaving me waiting indefinitely...
