MACROMOLECULAR RAPID COMMUNICATIONS

The review speed of MRC can truly be described as astonishing. The qualification review for doctoral graduation is scheduled for next week, and it was accepted in a very timely manner.
Although this journal has been downgraded to a 3rd tier, it still has influence as an established journal in the field of polymer science. Here is a brief account of the submission process:
Submitted on January 16, 2022, received the first round of review comments on January 30, just two weeks!! Comrades, it really was only two weeks!! This speed is truly amazing.
Both reviewers recommended major revisions, but there were only nine issues that needed to be addressed, and two small experiments needed to be conducted. It happened to coincide with the Chinese New Year holiday, so I waited patiently for the school to reopen after two weeks, and then spent 4 days in the lab conducting experiments and revising the manuscript (February 22, 2022).
Accepted on March 4, 2022.

This year is the second time I submitted to MRC. Thank you. Following the progress of the previous work.
On November 11th, I submitted to Angew and suggested transferring to MRC one week later.
Transferred on November 18th.
Received review comments on December 9th, very fast, it only took three weeks, two reviewers made minor revisions, overall rating is 5%.
Replied to the comments on December 15th, because I was busy preparing for my major thesis graduation, I was a bit blind and delayed the minor revisions for a week.
Accepted on December 16th, the editor probably just glanced at it...
The whole process took 29 days. It was really fast...
