Submitted in mid-March, returned for major revisions in early May, resubmitted at the end of May, returned for minor revisions in mid-August, accepted in mid-September. The speed is not slow, in the hands of the editors, the speed is quite fast, it's just that there are many procedures, and it takes more than a week just to go through the process! For example, after the reviewer returns, there is a deputy editor's summary, recommendation, chief editor's opinion, and finally a decision. Each time there are these procedures, quite a few of them! However, these editors are quick to provide feedback. There are two reviewers, their comments are very pertinent and constructive, each with 7 suggestions. After making the required modifications, the manuscript is resubmitted and returned to them for their feedback. Once they are satisfied, they recommend it for publication. After that, it goes through the process. Overall, it takes quite a long time, 6 months. But after calculating the time, I feel that each step is quite fast. Is it the same for everyone when submitting to other journals? Or are there faster options? Please recommend.

First submission in mid-September 2020, it felt like I was being rejected all along and the supervisor didn't want to continue struggling, so I settled for a less demanding topic.

Received feedback after about a month, major revisions were given a two-month deadline, but I had another article that needed minor revisions at the same time, so this one was left untouched.

Completed the revisions in early December and returned the manuscript. After about a month, received feedback for minor revisions. It felt like there was a change in the reviewer, as reviewer 1 had a different tone compared to before, and reviewer 2 pointed out many formatting issues (since I couldn't find the relevant formatting guidelines in the guidelines, and the link to a general Springer format was also invalid).

Submitted the revised manuscript around January 12, 2021, and it was accepted on the 15th.
