Additive manufacturing multi-axis calculation geometry process direction

Returned on October 13, with major revisions. The revisions were mainly focused on the front-end and were quite standard. However, one of the reviewers was an expert in additive manufacturing materials and raised many sharp material-related issues that were unrelated to the main focus of my research. The other two reviewers were more mild.
Completed major revisions on October 28 and resubmitted. Accepted on November 3. The editor also requested a proper organization of the reference citation format. Due to final exams that month, I made some intermittent modifications to the references. Submitted the revised version on November 24, but there were still some formatting issues in the references. Additionally, the grammar of the article in English was poor. It seemed like they wanted me to take it more seriously and not make careless modifications.
Started serious revisions from early December after finishing exams and asked a senior fellow student for help with revisions and polishing. Returned for revisions on December 14 and passed the final editing on December 16.
My first SCI paper in my academic career. It feels both simple and difficult, with the difficulty lying in the beginning of everything being tough. Overall, it gives me great confidence for the road ahead and even confidently tells my advisor that I will publish in a top-ranked journal in the future. Haha.

It took 15 months, and I graduated late... This journal has strict review standards. During the first revision, the journal said that the similarity rate was too high and could not be submitted. I checked with Turnitin, and the similarity rate was only 8%, so I guess they require a rate below 5%.

There were 15 comments from the first reviewer and 13 new comments from 32 new reviewers in the second revision. The second revision was kept at the editorial office for two months, and it was accepted on the same day after urging them for a response.

Overall, the quality of the journal paper is relatively high, but both the editor and the reviewers pay attention to details. The review process may be slow due to the impact of the pandemic or because my research direction is relatively niche. Those who are in a hurry to graduate should proceed with caution.
