July 3, 2022: Result: Major revision, given 3 months to make revisions, with a total of three reviewers. Reviewer 1 raised 7 issues, Reviewer 2 raised 12 issues, and Reviewer 3 raised 5 issues. P.S. Among them, 6 issues were difficult to answer, requiring additional experiments (such as adding more comparative models and statistical data).
September 9, 2022: First revision (major revision) returned.
October 26, 2022: Result: Major revision, given 45 days to make revisions, with a total of two reviewers. Reviewer 1 had no comments and agreed to publish; Reviewer 2 raised 6 issues. P.S. Reviewer 2's questions were almost identical to the previous ones. After thinking for a long time about how to respond, I ultimately reiterated the previous response sincerely and politely. I felt like it was going to be a tragedy at the time.
December 9, 2022: Second revision (major revision) returned.
December 27, 2022: Result: Minor revision, given 21 days to make revisions, with one reviewer providing 4 opinions and 2 questions. P.S. The questions were routine, and I quickly answered them. I feel like the paper has a chance now ^_^
January 15, 2023: Third revision (minor revision) returned.
January 18, 2023: Accepted with joy.
January 21, 2023: Signed publishing agreement.
February 28, 2023: Published online.
In the email sent by the editor, it was mentioned: "You will be unable to make your revisions on the originally submitted version of the manuscript. Instead, revise your manuscript using a word processing program and save it on your computer. Please make sure that the changes you have made are clearly identified, preferably by using yellow highlighting or by using red type."
I'm not sure how to handle this. I used LaTeX for editing and I'm not sure what they mean by "word processing program" here. It seems inconvenient to show changes using LaTeX...
