From submission to final acceptance, the process took 6 months:

- July 10, 2020: Submission
- July 13, 2020: Journal sent back the manuscript due to strict formatting requirements, asking for a resubmission after modifying the format.
- November 23, 2020: First review feedback received, requiring major revisions. Three reviewers provided comments, overall attitude was not harsh and suggested that revisions could lead to acceptance. The reviewers evaluated the manuscript in the following six aspects: Originality, Relationship to Literature, Methodology, Results, Implications for research, practice and/or society, and Quality of Communication.
- December 24, 2020: Revised manuscript submitted.
- January 18, 2021: Accepted, and notification to submit the copyright transfer agreement.

Submitted on August 19, 2021.
Received minor revision comments on January 22, 2022.
Revised on February 7, 2022.
Accepted on February 22, 2022.
Overall, the editor has very strict formatting requirements. During the review process, the handling editor has been in contact with the reviewers and has contacted the associate editor several times. The responses have been polite, but contacting the handling editor usually does not receive a response. The reviewers' questions are also quite professional. It is an established journal with a low impact factor. It is unknown when it will be indexed by WoS (Web of Science).
