CCS Chemistry

Share some insights and experiences on submitting manuscripts.
I started by submitting to Angew, but after 2 months of no response, I sent an email to inquire about the status. The response was mixed, with one positive and one negative feedback, and unexpectedly, the editor rejected the manuscript. Then, I decided to submit to CCS Chem, as it is positioned as the number one domestic chemistry journal, and I wanted to support domestic publications.
The submission process went smoothly, and the manuscript was sent for review on the same day. After 4 weeks, I received feedback from two reviewers, both of which were positive, and the editor provided minor revisions. After 1 week, I made the revisions and the manuscript was accepted directly.
I hope CCS Chem continues to thrive and becomes the first domestic journal with an impact factor over 10! (Estimated to be released next year).

The work is self-positioned around ACS Catal.
But after the boss's failed attempt at ACS nano, he decisively gave up on ACS and turned to this new journal.
There were three reviewers, who were professional and friendly.
August 3rd: Initial draft submission.
September 13th: Initial review comments, three major revisions.
September 24th: Revised according to requirements, unable to resolve some issues. Anxious.
October 20th: Reviewers accepted the revisions, editor requested minor revisions.
October 21st: Revised.
October 29th: Accepted.
