Chemistry—An Asian Journal is an international high-impact journal for chemistry in its broadest sense. The journal covers all aspects of chemistry from biochemistry through organic and inorganic chemistry to physical chemistry, including interdisciplinary topics.

Chemistry—An Asian Journal publishes Full Papers, Communications, and Focus Reviews.

A professional editorial team headed by Dr. Theresa Kueckmann and an Editorial Board (headed by Professor Susumu Kitagawa) ensure the highest quality of the peer-review process, the contents and the production of the journal.

Chemistry—An Asian Journal is published on behalf of the Asian Chemical Editorial Society (ACES), an association of numerous Asian chemical societies, and supported by the Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker (GDCh, German Chemical Society), ChemPubSoc Europe, and the Federation of Asian Chemical Societies (FACS).

The first article of my life, the goal is Angew, but the boss submitted it to ChemSusChem. The editor rejected it and suggested submitting it to Chemistry-An Asian Journal. The editor was very polite and said that my work was too focused on chemistry and advised me to submit it to a chemistry journal. It was sent for review and returned with feedback after 3 weeks. During this period, the editor also helped to urge the reviewers. After 2 weeks of revision, the reviewers suggested direct acceptance.

Let's talk about this journal first. Many big names in Asia (mostly organic chemistry experts from Japan) also actively submit their work here. With the backing of the prestigious Angew, they can also receive a portion of high-quality submissions and even have the chance for Nobel Prize nominations. Wiley has done a great job in managing it for the past two years, with the impact factor continuously increasing. It is expected to surpass that of European Chemistry, making it a very worthwhile investment. Wiley's editors are efficient and responsible, actively identifying the highlights of your research work, completely outperforming RSC's editors. Just take a look at what RSC's chemistry journals are like. Finally, I wish Chemistry-An Asian Journal continued success.

If watching exceeds Europeanization, it is only a matter of time. Although the impact factor of the comprehensive chemistry category is relatively low, I still hope that the editor-in-chief can manage it well and avoid following the footsteps of traditional organic chemistry journals.
