The reviewers were completely unprofessional. The first one simply summarized the entire article without providing any feedback or comments. They also pointed out grammar errors and suggested revisions, but after careful comparison and consultation with overseas colleagues, I found that there were no grammar issues at all.

The second reviewer seems to have some understanding of the field and acknowledged my work to some extent. However, their comments were quite general, such as mentioning insufficient experiments or lack of novelty in the viewpoints.

The third reviewer gave high praise for the article, but then the editor-in-chief rejected it with just two negative comments. Is this the level of review expected from a top domestic journal?

Half a month ago, it changed from "Awaiting Deputy EIC Recommendation and Awaiting AE Recommendation" to "Awaiting Deputy EIC Recommendation". And then, we have been waiting for the result, but no one has experienced this situation? Shouldn't this decision be directly based on the recommendation of the AE? It should be done quickly, right? Can any experienced seniors explain the meaning of the review status of Automation Journal?
