Outline
The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships are the flagship funding program of Horizon Europe and provide funding support for excellent postdoctoral researchers of any nationality. A key element of the MSCA fellowships is international mobility. Applicants must not be more than eight years from the completion of their PhD (with allowances for timeouts). There are two types of fellowships:
European Postdoctoral Fellowships: open to researchers of any nationality who are moving to a different country in Europe or moving to Europe from another part of the world. These fellowships are for 1-2 years.
Global Postdoctoral Fellowships: open to researchers to conduct research outside of Europe. Only European nationals or long-term residents may apply. These fellowships are for 2-3 years, with the final 12 months being a return to a research institution in Europe.
