Upper $600,000USD Individual projects are funded for up to $200,000 annually for a 1-3 year award period. The amount awarded will be determined based on the merit and feasibility of the proposed research.

Awards are open to scientists (PhD) and physician-scientists (MD or MD/PhD) with a faculty appointment at an academic institution in the United States. Applicants who do not have a Northwestern University appointment must provide a letter of support from a Northwestern University faculty member, who would serve as a collaborator on the project.

说明

The objective of the Polsky Urologic Cancer Institute Research Award is to increase understanding of urologic cancers and enable novel approaches to the prevention, detection and treatment of these cancers. Research supported through this mechanism should directly address questions in basic, clinical or translational urologic cancer research and result in meaningful data that could lead to subsequent extramural funding. Eligibility Awards are open to scientists (PhD) and physician-scientists (MD or MD/PhD) with a faculty appointment at an academic institution in the United States.
