I was rejected on the second day after submission and was advised to submit to a small or small structure.
On 3.14, I submitted to a small journal.
On 3.15, it was sent for review.
On 3.24, I received the first round of comments (2 minor revisions + 1 rejection). Additionally, an arbitration was invited, and the fourth reviewer suggested major revisions, with a total of over ten to twenty questions. The rejection did not provide any constructive suggestions and seemed to dismiss the material without much understanding of the method. Finally, I was given one month for major revisions.
On 4.18, I replied to the first round of comments and it was placed "Under Review" on the same day.
A week has passed, and now I am still waiting anxiously.

Very nice journal. After my submission to NC was rejected, I resubmitted to Small. The editor, Emma Van Burns, was very nice, and all three reviewers were very professional. One major revision and two minor revisions were requested, with a 20-day deadline for revisions. After submitting the revisions, the editor accepted the paper directly the next day, without further review. I feel that the quality of articles in Small is still very high, similar to AFM and ACS Nano. Hopefully, the impact factor can continue to rise. Striving for a score of 20.
