The submission experience of ACS AMI is still very good.
First review took one month with four reviewers. One major revision and one rejection, but two minor revisions were given. The editor requested a major revision, but the time given for the revision was only 21 days, so the animal experiments were completed on the last day.
The editor is very fair and does not reject based on just a few sentences of feedback.
The revised version was accepted one week later.
