MDPI is famous for its high efficiency. The response for submission takes 20 days for major revisions and after 6 days of completion (including detailed responses to each reviewer's comments), it takes another 4 days for acceptance. The whole process takes a month from start to finish.

The reviewers' comments are very sharp, as the article involves the content of a major thesis. Several reviewer's comments can be directly used to modify the major thesis (they have identified many logical and analytical loopholes). It is recommended for those who are eager to graduate to submit to MDPI.

Submitted on 8.1, rejected on 8.5. I didn't understand the reason for rejection and don't know if the editor even read the article. Judging from the manuscript number, there is a huge number of submissions. Personally, I feel that this journal is similar to PLOS ONE and Scientific Reports, with a high level of quality articles and a lot of low-quality ones.
