The chief editor of this journal, Marian Wiercigroch, is stricter than the reviewers' requirements. The initial review by three reviewers was generally positive, but the editor raised a series of issues, including the need to expand the titles of the figures, deepen the descriptions and discussions in the article, and include at least 60 references, with over 20 of them being from recent years. After making modifications for over 20 days, the revised version was submitted and received new reviewer comments 10 days later. Two reviewers agreed to accept it, while one raised a minor issue. However, the editor stated that the changes made were not fully in line with their requirements and warned that if there were any issues in the future, the manuscript would be flatly rejected. It's frustrating as there weren't specific suggestions for modifications, just the general requirement to further improve the article. Despite the positive opinions of the reviewers, it doesn't count for much.
