The submission was rejected after two months. One of the reviewers provided a very serious feedback, even going so far as to check my previously published articles and read some of the referenced papers. The feedback was very friendly. The other four reviewers' comments were very brief and vague, similar to typical translated versions of Chinese core review comments. Upon further investigation, it was found that the journal is mainly composed of Chinese editors.

After casually searching for a senior editor named Xiang Chen, it was discovered that this editor serves in several journals and has a track record in China.

I need to deeply reflect on why the article did not meet the standards. However, I still suggest that friends who are not concerned about this issue should first check the composition of the editorial board before submitting to journals with a high number of Chinese editors.
