Recently, has the number of submissions been too high? It feels like the review process is much slower than before. I submitted in December 2021 and went through more than five months. In May 2022, I received the initial review (Major Revision) comments. In June 2022, I uploaded the revised version, and it took another five months. Finally, in late November 2022, it was accepted. It took a whole year for this round, but I guess it's the normal course of things.
