The editor and manager are both diligent and responsible, and their responses are relatively timely. However, the manager is more of an administrative role. If there is an urgent need for review, it is better to contact the editor-in-chief directly. Otherwise, it can delay the process.

- If it is a resubmission after rejection, there shouldn't be any major issues in addressing the reviewers' comments.
- I have also previously submitted to MDPI's Sensors. Both journals have similar impact factors, but MDPI is open-access with a publication fee of 15,000 RMB+. However, the review process is fast, and the paper can be published within a month. The downside is that recently, most MDPI journals have been included in the warning list by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and many labs and professors do not recognize the achievements published there.
