This journal covers a wide range of research directions, as long as it is related to sensors, so many disciplines can submit articles. The quality of the articles varies, with some comparable to good articles in IEEE Transactions, but also many obviously low-quality articles.

The number of submissions to this journal has greatly increased in the past two years. I don't know if it will become like journals such as MDPI's Remote Sensing, publishing three to four thousand articles per year. By then, the quality of the articles may have a big gap compared to IEEE Transactions. Ah, I hope this journal can retain its second-tier status before I graduate! Hang in there!
