The speed is average. I am also a reviewer for this journal. According to my observation, a typical article usually directly contacts more than 5 reviewers, but only 2-3 reviewers are likely to accept the review. There was an article for which I was the only reviewer, and the editor-in-chief also provided feedback in the end. There was another article for which three reviewers, including myself, all gave rejection opinions, and the editor-in-chief took more than a month to handle the rejection.

I also submitted an article myself this year, in February, and only received the results in May. During the process, it changed several times from "under consideration." As expected, all six reviewers provided feedback, with approximately four suggesting major revisions and two rejecting the article. Finally, the editor-in-chief requested major revisions. After carefully considering the reviewer's comments, I realized that making the changes would be difficult and would likely lead to a prolonged battle of six months or even more, with a high chance of rejection. Therefore, I ultimately decided to reject the requested modifications.
