Although it was rejected, they suggested resubmitting after making serious revisions based on their feedback. Overall, the reviewers were satisfied with the revisions and only had two issues regarding the figures and tables. I am very happy and feel fulfilled, as I have grown and learned a lot from this experience. In general, the editorial process was fast, the reviewers were professional, and the journal has high standards (four reviewers reviewing the manuscript). It is not like the average quality of OA journals in the industry, after all, it is a 2nd-tier journal, so it is worth submitting to.
