Submitted at the end of May 2020. Still "with editor" by mid-July, so I sent the first email urging for progress. By late August, it was still "with editor" so I sent a second email. After a few days, it changed to "under review". By early December, it was still "under review" so I sent a third email. (The editor replied saying that one review had provided feedback and another was a rejection, so I needed to find new reviewers.) By the end of February, it was "under process". In early March, I received feedback for major revisions, stating that the experiment was insufficient. The first review process took a total of 9 months, and the second review process has been indefinitely delayed.

This journal's cycle is too long. I need to switch journals!!!!
