Upper $250,000USD Grants are usually worth up to $250,000 each for a maximum period of two years.

Applicants may be from any sector and any part of the world. Individuals at the graduate student or postdoctoral levels may serve as the lead investigator on a proposal, provided that the proposal is accompanied by a brief letter of support signed by a faculty member at the student’s higher education institution. Lead researchers from projects that have previously been awarded a grant from GFI are also eligible.

The Good Food Institute invites proposals for its annual competitive grant program. This supports open-access research that addresses the scientific and technical bottlenecks facing the production of whole-cut alternative protein products with the taste and price consumers demand. Eligibility Applicants may be from any sector and any part of the world.
