Encoding Top Journal, at the beginning I didn't dare to submit, during the submission period I would occasionally check this website to distract my anxiety. Let me share my personal experience, from submitting to finally receiving acceptance, it took a total of 6 months. The review process was relatively fast, but I spent more time revising.

Here is the process of my paper:
July 29, 2020 - Submitted
October 2, 2020 - Major revision, at this time I still had confidence
November 2, 2020 - Submitted again
November 21, 2020 - Major revision, I started to panic. Although two reviewers had already accepted it, there was one comment stating that the text quality did not meet TCSVT standards.
December 25, 2020 - Submitted again. At that time, I also checked if the review process would be slow during Christmas, but it turned out to be not the case.
January 5, 2021 - Awaiting recommendation
January 5, 2021 - In peer review. Later, I found out that this was because the third reviewer quickly responded and the AE found another reviewer.
January 14, 2021 - Awaiting recommendation, I started to feel anxious.
January 17, 2021 - Awaiting decision. I refreshed my email every three minutes and searched for keywords on Little Mochi, such as "rejected after three reviews" and "fourth review."
January 19, 2021 - Accepted at 4 PM. I was very happy, and I wandered around the lab.

First round with three reviewers
Second round with five reviewers (seems to be controversial, switching between "Awaiting Decision" and "Awaiting Recommendation" three times, indicating that two additional Associate Editors were added as reviewers, as mentioned by the first two reviewers in the new comments)
Third round with only two reviewers for minor revisions

Overall, the review process is relatively strict, depending on luck. I previously submitted an article that was immediately rejected, probably indicating that they did not want further submissions. Fortunately, this journal has a relatively fast turnaround time, with review results coming back within three months. The normal process includes three reviewers for the first review, but if you're lucky, it may be reduced to two reviewers who recommend acceptance.
