In this study, (Ba,Ca)(Zr,Ti)O-3 ferroelectric ceramic was fabricated by a conventional solid-state reaction process. The electrocaloric effect was investigated using P-E hysteresis loop characteristics in a wide temperature range from room temperature to 135A degrees C. The results showed that the temperature change Delta T could be calculated as a function of temperature using Maxwell's relation, reaching a maximum value of degrees 0.096A degrees C at 110A degrees C under an applied electric field of 15.3 kV/cm.
