Dr. Clark Holdsworth
Senior Manager, Communications & Partnerships (LetPub)
Dr. Holdsworth oversees communications projects and partnerships at LetPub. LetPub has thousands of interactions with authors and journals annually. Dr. Holdsworth and the Learning Nexus Team filter these experiences into an intuitive and effective educational experience for authors and journal editors.
The conference poster is a ubiquitous form of scientific communication for researchers and integral to the scientific output of any academic career. Dr. Clark Holdsworth will reveal a set of approaches and techniques for designing and producing a poster using basic, widely available software.
More importantly, we will focus on the publishing and archiving of your posters as an integral part of your overall research output. Posters are an incredibly useful tool, and they present opportunities for sharing and adapting research beyond the borders of the conference. They belong in the permanent scientific record. Dr. Holdsworth will demonstrate the publishing process on Peeref: Which of your posters are eligible for diamond open access publishing on Peeref (free to authors); what you need to submit; and how to complete the process for all your eligible work in a timely and efficient manner.
Join us: 8:00 PM PST on Wednesday September 4 (8:00 AM UTC+8 on Thursday September 5)
A certificate of completion will be provided after the session.
