Aims and Scope
Frontiers of Physics, an international refereed journal, aims to summarize the latest and significant progress and highlight frontier achievements, hot topics and cross points in a variety of research fields in physics, such as quantum computation and quantum information; atomic, molecular, and optical physics; condensed matter and materials physics; particle, nuclear physics, astrophysics and cosmology, and to provide a platform for communication and exchange of ideas among physicists in China and overseas. The journal publishes Review and Topical Review articles. The Review provides a comprehensive overview of certain active research areas and the Topical Review offers a snapshot of recent progress in a particular and rapidly developing research field.

The review speed is very fast, and the state of work on weekends also changes, indicating that they still work on weekends. They are really efficient. There were two review comments, one suggesting minor revisions and the other suggesting rejection. In the end, they gave a deadline of one month for the minor revisions, which is impressive. After completing the revisions, the paper was accepted quickly. It's a good domestic journal, and its impact factor is steadily rising. It shows that the journal is working hard to build a good journal in China. Keep up the good work!

This journal is so trashy, and the editors are very irresponsible. I submitted my manuscript over three months ago, and the status of the review has not been updated since the day of submission. I politely emailed to inquire about the status of my manuscript, only to receive a rejection letter without any external review. The rejection comments provided by the editor were very amateurish and unprofessional. If they intended to reject it without an external review, they should have done it earlier and not waste the author's time for so long.
