The editing process is fast and very nice. The review process is also quick, with a focus on catalytic mechanisms. There is a professional requirement for insights on catalysis, and the reviewers are quite knowledgeable in reviewing paper issues. Best wishes for the journal's continued success! Thank you again to Editor Regina Palkovits!

2022.3.4 - First submission
3.7 - Under editor review
3.9 - In peer review
3.13 - Under editor/peer review (probably due to a reviewer rejection and a change of reviewers)
3.23 - Reject and resubmit (minor revisions, but the reasons for rejection did not apply to my paper). Thanks to Editor Regina Palkovits for giving me the opportunity to resubmit. I provided a comprehensive point-by-point response to the rejection, which was recognized by the subsequent reviewers.

The collaborator is one of the members of the editorial committee for the inaugural issue, and at his suggestion, he submitted an article. It was a piece that had been rejected after being reviewed by the Journal of Catalysis (JC), but was then submitted to the Catalysis Science & Technology (CST) journal. After one month of major and minor revisions in the first round of review, it was accepted directly in less than a month in the second round of review, following careful modifications. After acceptance, a cover was created, and the opportunity to have it featured on the cover was smoothly obtained. Later, when Javier Pérez-Ramírez became the editor-in-chief, many European and American colleagues began boycotting the journal because of him. As mentioned by a friend above, this is why CST has fewer authors from Europe and America compared to other top catalysis journals.
