I registered this account just to vent my anger towards this journal. I submitted my article in February last year, and it has undergone 5 revisions since then. After a minor revision in February this year, another minor revision came last night. Every time, they provide nearly a page-long response for each small issue, and I dare not neglect it. It has taken a total of one year and 2 months so far, and I estimate that it will take another two months for feedback on this minor revision. Each minor revision requires two months for feedback. You can imagine the snail-like review speed of this journal. From my observation, the review process for experimental papers in this journal is generally longer. I have seen a few articles that took over a year for review, but none of them had a review time as long as mine for this experimental paper. The review speed of this journal is simply unbeatable. Even a minor revision requires two months for feedback. The editors are as slow as snails. I don't know if they are intellectually disabled and can't understand the response. I have clearly responded with several pages, including various figures, tables, formulas, explanations, and modifications, ensuring that every sentence can be understood by a three-year-old. Even a slight ambiguity requires further explanation. But still, it is impossible to get rid of them. This is the most rubbish journal I have ever submitted to, without a doubt, and it tarnishes the reputation of IAHR, the organization it belongs to. This journal publishes a very limited number of articles each year, and the editors are too arrogant. I will never submit to this journal again in my lifetime. Please look at my username. I will never publish in any rubbish journal again, especially this rubbish journal. If there are any internal staff members of this rubbish journal, it would be best to convey my words to your editing team. Thank you.
