Aims and Scope
The Transactions of Nonferrous Metals Society of China (Trans. Nonferrous Met. Soc. China), founded in 1991 and sponsored by The Nonferrous Metals Society of China, is published monthly now and mainly contains reports of original research which reflect the new progresses in the field of nonferrous metals science and technology, including mineral processing, extraction metallurgy, metallic materials and heat treatments, metal working, physical metallurgy, powder metallurgy, with the emphasis on fundamental science. It is the unique preeminent publication in English for scientists, engineers, under/post-graduates on the field of nonferrous metals industry. This journal is covered by many famous abstract/index systems and databases such as SCI Expanded, Ei Compendex Plus, INSPEC, CA, METADEX, AJ and JICST.

After more than three months of submission, it was rejected. It took one week for review and one month for the review to be returned with comments. The editor-in-chief delayed for one and a half months, and the managing editor delayed for half a month. One reviewer accepted the paper after major revisions, while another claimed lack of innovation and rejected it. The suggestions made for the paper did not improve it even a bit. Domestic journals are too formidable for me. I am not worthy. From now on, I will not submit to this prestigious journal and avoid such strict reviewers. The review speed is also the slowest I have ever seen.

The speed of manuscript review is fast. When submitting, there were significant formatting issues, but it was still sent for review. It took 3 days for the initial review, 1 month for the first revision, and another month for the second revision.
After the revisions, the journal has high requirements for paper formatting, image quality, size, and titles.
The editors are particularly patient because there were many details overlooked when writing the paper, and the image quality was poor. They guided and made multiple revisions.
It is a fantastic domestic journal.
