May 22, 2020 submission - Received revision comments on July 20, 2020: Minor revisions requested. Two reviewers asked for citations of their papers and monographs, while one requested the addition of engineering significance and quantification of future research value in the conclusion. Also, requested to improve the English language.

The review process was moderate in speed. Although my English is not good, presenting the experimental report format yields better results and higher acceptance rates. This journal does not require high levels of innovation and focuses more on solving engineering problems. I have submitted a total of five papers to this journal, with one already published and one just accepted. Both of them are on-site original engineering trial operation articles. The published paper had a limited research boundary, using two outdated mathematical models for surface data analysis. However, the results could guide on-site production and were supported by qualitative economic data. The recently accepted paper is on energy consumption analysis, comparing and analyzing two mathematical models using five years of energy consumption data, and finally proposing improvement suggestions using operations research methods. The remaining three papers were not sent for external review due to issues with research boundaries and logic. My writing highlights are mathematics and industrial engineering optimization, with the incorporation of thermodynamics. I hope my insights will be helpful for engineers in the field to submit their work.

Two journals that I previously submitted to rejected my papers - one because it did not align with their scope, and the other after major revisions. So, I decided to submit to this journal instead.

I was initially concerned about the long review period for this journal in our field. However, to my surprise, I received a response in less than two months. The reviewers' comments were constructive and not overly critical.

Here is the timeline of the submission process:
- October 8, 2021: Submitted to the journal.
- October 15, 2021: Under review.
- November 28, 2021: Major revision requested, given one month for revisions. One reviewer requested major revisions, while the other requested minor revisions.
- December 26, 2021: Submitted the revised paper to the journal.
- January 9, 2022: Paper accepted.

Overall, the process was quite fast. It's worth mentioning that another paper from my colleagues has been under review at a different journal for seven months without any updates. So, I consider myself lucky.
