Aims and Scope

Supportive Care in Cancer provides members of the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC) and all other interested individuals, groups and institutions with the most recent scientific and social information on all aspects of supportive care in cancer patients. It covers primarily medical, technical and surgical topics concerning supportive therapy and care which may supplement or substitute basic cancer treatment at all stages of the disease.

Nursing, rehabilitative, psychosocial and spiritual issues of support are also included.

Submitted in mid-June of the 21st year, it took half a month without being reviewed. Sent an email to urge the editor, who reviewed it the following day (July 5th). On August 26th, received feedback for major revisions, which were completed on September 6th and submitted through the system. On October 9th, received feedback for minor revisions, which were completed on the same day. Finally, it was accepted on October 16th.

Submission begins on the third of the month, and acceptance is received in mid-August. It took nearly three months to receive the first decision, and after two major revisions, it was accepted directly. Each time after a major revision, the decision message was received quickly. Overall, it is a good magazine, with the only drawback being the lengthy time for the first decision, requiring patience.
