Aims and Scope
Progress in Polymer Science publishes state-of-the-art overview articles by internationally recognized authorities in polymer science and engineering, one of the fastest growing disciplines. The journal provides a link between original articles, innovations published in patents, and up-to-date knowledge of technology. It publishes review articles on subjects not only within the traditional fields of polymer science - chemistry, physics and engineering involving polymers - but also within interdisciplinary developing fields such as functional and specialty polymers, biomaterials, polymers and drug delivery, polymers in electronic applications, composites, conducting polymers, liquid crystalline materials and the interphases between polymers and ceramics, and new fabrication techniques, where significant contributions are being made.

Verified Reviews
2019.3.15 Received email notification that the article has been sent for review
2019.9.8 Received reviewer comments, only one reviewer, major revision, raised many questions. The editor directly gave the option to reject and resubmit, suggesting that if the reviewer's requirements can be met, then reconsideration can be made.
2019.10.30 Revised and carefully modified, the reviewer's comments were very constructive and significantly improved the article. The response to the comments reached over 80 pages.
2020.2.7 Editor replied to reviewer comments, this time an additional reviewer was added. The previous reviewer agreed to the modifications, while the new reviewer suggested minor revisions. Editor GC Berry personally polished the language to further enhance it.
2020.3.1 Revised and carefully modified.
2020.5.16 Notified that the article has been accepted, the review process took over a year and a half.
Overall, the review speed of the journal is quite slow, and the editors and reviewers have strict requirements, making it difficult to submit. After all, it is a top-level review in the field of polymers, with an impact factor of over 20. Hopefully, this journal will continue to improve.
