Aims and Scope

Physiology & Behavior is aimed at the causal physiological mechanisms of behavior and its modulation by environmental factors. The journal invites original reports in the broad area of behavioral and cognitive neuroscience, in which at least one variable is physiological and the primary emphasis and theoretical context are behavioral. The range of subjects includes behavioral neuroendocrinology, psychoneuroimmunology, learning and memory, ingestion, social behavior, and studies related to the mechanisms of psychopathology. Contemporary reviews and theoretical articles are welcomed and the Editors invite such proposals from interested authors.

Posted in early October, returned for revision after one month, and returned after 40 days of supplementary experiments. The second review took about one month. The second review included a minor revision and formatting changes in six places. It was returned after four days. Four days after being sent to the editor, it was directly accepted. Two days after acceptance, the proofreading draft was received, and it took two days to check. After submission, it went online the next day. In short, personally, I think it's not bad. The reviewers invited were also kind, and the editing efficiency was high. The whole process took about four months, I don't know if it was because of Christmas. Recommended!

Second submission of PhB, a review article.
Two days after submission, external review was conducted, and 44 days later, the review was returned with two minor revisions.
One day after the revisions were made, the article stayed in the "with editor" status for a month before being sent for review again.
20 days later, the review was returned, and the same day, the editor accepted the revisions.
The editor highly respects the opinions of the reviewers and the journal is very friendly.
