Aims and Scope
The Journal of Constructional Steel Research provides an international forum for the presentation and discussion of the latest developments in structural steel research and their applications. It is aimed not only at researchers but also at those likely to be most affected by research results, i.e. designers and fabricators. Original papers of a high standard dealing with all aspects of steel research including theoretical and experimental research on elements, assemblages, connection and material properties are considered for publication.

The review process was very fast, with three reviewers providing professional feedback and valuable suggestions for revisions. One of the reviewers, possibly the editor themselves, provided extremely detailed suggestions for every page and line, which I am very grateful for! The review process took one month, even during the Christmas holiday, and the feedback was promptly provided. The major revision was given 45 days, and the editor should give the reviewers 15 days to provide feedback on the revised manuscript. Overall, this reflects the efficiency of the review process.
