The whole process took about 5 months, and if accepted, it would also take more than 4 months. Perhaps it was because there were too many things to process during Christmas this year, even though the journal is published weekly, it still took a long time. Before I submitted my paper, I only found out that a classmate in the lab had also submitted one, and it took almost 6 months for her paper to be reviewed because she had to make three revisions. Another classmate submitted a month later than me and was rejected after just one week, it seems to be an issue related to the field. I initially wanted to submit a letter, but there was a fatal flaw that couldn't be avoided, so I chose to submit the full paper, all for the sake of graduation. I know that what I wrote was pretty bad, but no matter what, this is my first paper, and I probably won't have another one in the future, so the experience is still very valuable. Also, the subsequent process is very complicated and not as straightforward as Elsevier. Everyone should pay attention to their emails. I received a notification for major revisions on the same day as my exams, and I had just finished reading the system for two hours when the email arrived. I didn't expect to receive major revisions within a month, so it was quite unexpected.

2023.4.23 Submit revised manuscript
......There was no response for a while. After 10 days, I sent a reminder (just asking about the progress). The editorial department said it was in progress. Many colleagues didn't receive any notifications during this stage, and they didn't know what was going on. After more than a month, I couldn't help it and sent another reminder. They said graduation was approaching and the editorial department said they would check on the matter.
2023.6.2 Accept without change (No other information was provided. After submitting, it was directly accepted without any status changes like "with" or "under").
2023.6.5 Final acceptance (Submitted the figures again, given three days. Submitted on the same day, then it became useless, went to our own website).
2023.6.14 Marked for Production (Just a notification email, waiting for the final acceptance).
2023.6.15 Notification transferred to Author Services for further processing.
2023.6.17 Signing agreements and other tasks.
2023.6.18 Proofreading (Given two days, but you know, it was due to the fault of the browser and computer because I had attachments to upload, and I couldn't do it. I kept receiving remaining emails).
2023.6.22 Proofreading completed.
2023.6.23 Online.
