INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS IN HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER

INT COMMUN HEAT MASS

ISSN / eISSN
0735-1933
Aims and Scope
International Communications in Heat and Mass Transfer serves as a world forum for the rapid dissemination of new ideas, new measurement techniques, preliminary findings of ongoing investigations, discussions, and criticisms in the field of heat and mass transfer. Two types of manuscript will be considered for publication: communications (short reports of new work or discussions of work which has already been published) and summaries (abstracts of reports, theses or manuscripts which are too long for publication in full). Together with its companion publication, International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, with which it shares the same Board of Editors, this journal is read by research workers and engineers throughout the world.

Thanks to the reviewers, thanks to the editor for giving me the opportunity, thanks to my mentor, thanks to the help of my classmates, thanks to myself. I hope the journal will continue to improve and reach a 10th edition soon.

The journal is a sister publication of IJHMT, and it has a high level in the field of heat transfer and thermodynamics. It should have a ranking of at least Q2 or higher. It seems that due to slow progress in the past two years, the impact factor (IF) has decreased, resulting in the upgraded version being downgraded to Q3, while the basic version remains in Q2. The IF for 2021 has started to rise, reaching around 5.5, so it is expected to return to Q2 in the Chinese Academy of Sciences' ranking this year. It is one of the few good journals in the field of heat transfer.
