Aims and Scope

European Journal of Radiology is an international journal which aims to communicate to its readers, state-of-the-art information on imaging developments in the form of high quality original research articles and timely reviews on current developments in the field.

Its audience includes clinicians at all levels of training including radiology trainees, newly qualified imaging specialists and the experienced radiologist. Its aim is to inform efficient, appropriate and evidence-based imaging practice to the benefit of patients worldwide.

Submitted on June 28th, it was quickly sent for external review, and some minor revisions were given. It was revised and returned within 20 days. It was revised again on August 18th, and on September 19th, acceptance was expressed. Finally, it went online on September 27th. From submission to being published online, it took exactly 3 months, which I personally think is quite fast. However, my fellow senior sister's article, which was submitted together, was processed very slowly. The "With Editor" status lasted for a relatively long time, possibly due to the editor.
